For He's A Joel-y Good Fellow! Sting, Howard Stern And Jimmy Fallon Among Galaxy Of Stars Celebrating Billy's 65th Birthday

It's not every day a living music legend’s 65th birthday.
So it was appropriate real galaxy of stars turned to celebrate the birthday of Billy Joel in New York on Friday.

Sting, Howard Stern, Jimmy Fallon and Judd Apatow were just some of the A- listers who had a good time enjoying the piano man.

The bald star looks great for his age with a black blazer, shirt and trousers, his beard neatly combed adding an extra touch of class.
And seemed to love to snuggle Trudie Styler and her husband Sting, old friends looking like they were having a ball together.

Billy, who has sold over 150 million albums, even managed to get their hands on a puppy as he sat with ' Shock Jock ' Howard Stern and Judd Apatow favorite comedy.

But as the party with the stars was fun, it was obvious he was having just as much of a good fun time when he played his sold out show at Madison Square Garden in advance.
The playful star made light of the fact that it is now an old age pensioner, telling his fans: “It’s supposed to retire at that age, or at least not have the name of Billy. . .”

And while fans might enjoy classic cuts like The Entertainer and the Ballad of Billy the Kid, the night wore hand literally gifts to others.

The show turned into a benefit for the campaign Furry Friends of North Shore Animal League Bianca, which is run by Howard Stern and his wife Beth, with the former calling it 'Saint Billy, "because of his generosity.
And while fans endured duets with Jimmy Fallon, soon kicked into new, with the appropriate final set with Piano Man before an encore that included the likes of Uptown Girl and Big Shot.

Billy is in the midst of a concert tour in North America, playing next weekend Hollywood Bowl.
